Plan and review

Now's the time to focus on what you're going to teach as a whole school. It's a fantastic opportunity to get every teacher around the table and plan what you're going to teach each child throughout their education. This is when the magic happens!.

  Discuss what you are going to be teaching

    Get all your SLT and teachers involved to look at a           whole school approach

  Have conversations with your feeder/secondary schools        to look from ages 5 through to 18

  Think about how you're going to make sure your        curriculum shows year on year progress

    Make sure your curriculum is joined up across year           groups

    Think about how much of the curriculum you're going           to teach

    Make sure teachers are teaching different things across           different year groups

    Include room for stretch
